New Year Blues

Hello Fellow Crafters

How are we travelling so far this year?

 Are we over school holidays yet? 

Have we forgotten those silly new year resolutions that last for 5 minutes?

 I know I'm over it all.

I am looking to find inspiration of a different kind this year. I want to be motivated and inspired by what I do and achieve this year.

 Now be prepared as Im not in the greatest of head spaces so far this year so there may be some weird and wonderful stuff hit my pages.

I plan to use my creativeness to help heal my mind and put me back to normal. (and that depends on if I can remember what normal is).

I have found that being inspired and following others has put so many ideas and techniques etc in my head that when I sit down to create there is nothing. Its all gone. 

I need to and am going to start to write my ideas down, maybe that will take some the congestion out of my head.

So this year for me at least must be a time for myself to create from within and learn about me, to inspire and influence myself as well as others along the way.

Challenges Challenges Challengers...

My challenge of creating 365 layouts for 2020 is coming along nicely, but at the moment I could probably use a kick in the butt to get motivated as I am sure that a lot people who have made new years promises for 2020 also require.
 I am finding it difficult to concentrate on what I am doing at the moment. I think I am going to blame life for getting in the way of this. (how dare it hahaha)
I have so much happening and it has been very distracting.
I need to stop slow down and start again.
Do you feel like that at times??

Update on Challenge 365

This challenge is going well and so far I have kept up to date.
 I am finding Inspiration from all areas of life at the moment.
I have so much happening and it is so much fun.
Sometimes I think my head will explode with the ideas that flow through :)

These photos of my Mum and her great grand-daughters are indeed moments to treasure and we are very thankful everyday to still have Mum with us and as active as she is with all her great - grandchildren

I do hope you will take some Inspiration from this and get into those family photos that need to be remembered as treasured moments.

Here are some pics from my self challenge.

To challenge oneself is a great way to get into a routine and add some order to your crafting. 

It takes a fair bit of self discipline to keep up. I know its only week one but I think Im going be able to keep this up, I have really established a new appreciation for my scrapbooking. 

And trust me I do really need to establish some routine in my life.

I do hope you enjoy these and that they may inspire you to challenge yourself as well.

My Challenge 365

Well we have started the New Year, I do hope we are all crafting along nicely.

I have started the New Year by challenging myself to complete a layout a day for the entire year and so far I am on track, but it is early days yet. I am really getting my mojo back for scrapbooking again by doing this challenge and so enjoying it.

There are many that are trying this challenge and they have joined us in tracking there progress on our Facebook page, and I wish them every success.

Below are the layouts completed so far this year. I will add my completed ones each week and hope they inspire you to have a go, even if its only once a month, its an opportunity to increase your crafting and learn new things.
