Have you seen the junk journals people are making out there.

I thought they would be quite difficult and time consuming and that there were certain techniques to do and use but NO its really a bit of a free for all.
I had put off even looking to closely at them until recently.
 You can be as formal or informal as you like with them.

I love the fact that you don't have to think to hard about it and that all those little scraps that are building up around the craft room...... well hello lets use them up and create one.

Designer Papers

Remember last blog I said I would elaborate further on the designer paper that I used on the layout featured. Well he goes........

I applied for a position on the DT for Thoughtful Studios (TS) unfortunately I was not successful but I did develop a beautiful friendship with the owner and have been offered a guest DT spot next month which of course I am really excited about. I will share more about that as it happens.

Today I really just wanted to put her details and her products out there for everyone to check out. Go have a look and see what you think.

Talking to Marie I can see a lot of new stuff coming from her studio she is venturing into journalling kits etc as well. Very exciting times ahead for this venture.

Inspiration is everywhere

Photographic Inspiration

I have recently started a basic photography course and am starting to see the world a little differently.

It really is very different through the camera lens. 

The fact that one photo can become many different photos dependent upon the manipulation of it. 

It is getting me outside in the fresh air and sunshine which in turn is giving me some peace and serenity which of course is always good for our minds and body.

It doesn't matter what your hobby is, if you slow yourself down a little and take the time to really enjoy the moments and the milestones in the journey toward completion of your masterpiece it can be an amazing experience.

The beginning of my Photographic Journey

I am taking myself on an inward journey at the moment towards the real me. I am trying to stop the fight that goes on inside with the pressures of today's society, maybe not stop but slow down, take the time to enjoy the process not just rush to the end and not be happy with the outcome.

Today's Pictorial Inspiration

Today I have a taste of something a little different to inspire you, still a layout but the pattern paper comes from a new source to me. 

This is something I am happy to elaborate on in the future so stay tuned.
